ABOUT JONATHAN K. ALLEN, ESQ.
Education & History
Originally from California, Mr. Jonathan K. Allen, Esquire, received his bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies from University of California, Berkeley. He minored in philosophy, accomplished a thesis and received numerous awards of distinction. Having acquired a notable scholarship, he continued his education and earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School.
While in law school, he served as vice president of the law school chapter of Amnesty International and became a member of Phi Alpa Delta Law Fraternity. He also participated in mock trial, moot court and other competitions. After completing law school, Mr. Allen gained admission to practice law in New York, New Jersey and Florida. He is also admitted to practice in the Middle District Court of Florida and in the United States District Court of New Jersey.
Legal Experience & Areas of Practice
To better serve his clients, Mr. Allen currently limits his practice to domestic and international business, personal injury and overtime violations. His business practice includes matters related to domestic and international commerce, trademark and copyright law, contract negotiation and disputes, litigation, corporate dealings and business management. While studying in Spain, he developed comprehensive and detailed understanding of international law, structure and functions of various European business entities, and their interaction with the United States and the newly emerging European Common Market. He also has experience in contract round table negotiation with Russian, German and Hong Kong companies.
Mr. Allen has drafted many legal documents ranging from partnerships and operating agreements to shareholder contracts and bylaws, and over the years has helped businesses to grow and prosper. In addition, he has handled overtime and personal injury matters, including one action against a national specialty pharmacy.
It is a priority for Attorney Jonathan K. Allen to understand all the situations and circumstances that surround a client’s matter and to provide aggressive representation. His ultimate goal is to enable you to make a well-informed decision and to help you achieve the most optimum possible outcome.
