1983 – 1984 : Apprentice to the law – judge at Burgas District Court
1984 – admitted in Burgas Bar Association
1989 – 1994 : founder and partner in the first lawyers’ partnership in the country “Kraev, Kostov & Baev”
1994 untill today – established and manages lawyers’ partnership “Ivo Baev & Partners”
1995 – 1997 : member of Burgas Bar Association Council
1998 – 2002: Chairman of Burgas Bar Association Council elected by the General Meeting of the association for two consecutive terms in the office
2002 : Chairman of the Disciplinary Court at Burgas Bar Association
