I grew up on the East coast of the United States have lived in New York City, Boston and Washington DC where I worked for the US Government enforcing anti-trust laws, and then came to California driving cross-country where I currently reside in Anaheim. I lived abroad – in East Asia – for a year living in Taiwan, the Republic of China where I lived with a Chinese family in Taipei studying with at Tunghai University.
I am a graduate of Columbia University majoring in Oriental Studies, graduating Summa Cum Laude and graduate of Harvard Law School. I was invited by the US Attorney General to attend and participate in the official US-China Joint Session on Trade, Investment and Economic Law in Peking I participated in the exchange legal knowledge and experience to help remove obstacles to advance international trade. That US-China Joint Session was referred to in the China Daily as “the most significant legal exchange in history between China and the United States.”
Having been around the country and halfway around the world made me an eclectic person with a broad range of interests. I have a professional working proficiency in several languages- English, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, German, French and have limited working proficiency in many other languages. I have handled international real estate fraud cases as well as international personal injury matters.
